Foodics is a Riyadh headquartered restaurant technology and financial technology company that provides a 360 degree cloud-based software and hardware ecosystem for the food and beverage industry, including a point of sale system, payments via Foodics Pay, online ordering through Foodics Online, self-service kiosks, accounting tools, and a marketplace integrating more than 100 third-party applications. It addresses the historical lack of digitalization in MENA restaurants by giving owners a single platform to manage orders, inventory, employees, customer relationships, and finances, and it also operates a fintech and micro-lending arm called Foodics Capital that extends Sharia compliant working capital loans to restaurants and small merchants. The company is licensed as a fintech by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), serves more than 30,000 restaurants across over 35 countries, and has processed more than 6 billion orders through its platform since inception, catering to dine-in restaurants, cafes, quick service chains, food trucks, cloud kitchens, and non-food micro-retailers. Foodics has expanded through acquisitions including Jordan-based POSRocket in 2022 and Solo Technology Services in February 2025, and its 170 million dollar Series C round in April 2022 was the largest SaaS Series C funding round ever recorded in the MENA region. The company has been recognized as one of Forbes' top 50 fintechs in the Middle East and named E-Business of the Year 2023 by Entrepreneur Middle East.
