About the Role
We are seeking a Category Manager – Grocery to drive strategy, optimize category performance, and manage vendor relationships. You will own P&L, assortment strategy, sourcing, pricing, and inventory to ensure strong growth and operational efficiency across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Own P&L and category/assortment strategy.
Lead supplier negotiations, onboarding, and strategic sourcing.
Collaborate with supply chain and demand planning to maintain inventory and availability.
Partner with marketing and product teams to drive SKU visibility, adoption, and conversion.
Monitor category performance, customer feedback, and market trends to refine strategies.
Ensure all products meet regulatory, legal, finance, and compliance standards.

Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5–8 years in category management, merchandising, procurement, or strategic sourcing, ideally in grocery retail or FMCG.
Proven track record of owning commercial KPIs, margins, and growth targets.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-making.
Entrepreneurial drive, ownership mindset, and bias for action.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
