About طالب هب

Talebhub, also written TalebHub, is a student platform based in Qatar. TechScoop describes it as building a digital student economy for university students rather than a single listings site. Mesfer Al-Marri, whose surname is also spelled Almarri or Al Marri, founded and leads the company.

The platform brings several services together. Taleb ID provides campus identity verification. A peer-to-peer marketplace lets students trade with one another. The platform also links students to internships and jobs and lists events. Financial services for students are planned but have not launched, and TechScoop noted that student finance is a regulated product. The company points to expansion across the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the wider Arab region.

A note from the Qatari outlet Jawlah, cited by TechScoop, said Talebhub was among the top 25 startups at Web Summit Qatar 2025. Dealroom News describes it instead as named Best Startup at Web Summit Qatar, so the two accounts differ.

On 25 September 2026 GrowthX Capital announced an investment in Talebhub. GrowthX is a Doha-based venture platform founded by Hamad Al-Hajri, who is also chief executive of Snoonu. It invests directly from pre-seed to Series A and also commits to regional funds. GrowthX put a combined USD 1 million into Talebhub and Hired Valley, a hiring platform, and did not disclose how the money was split. No valuation was disclosed. Both companies joined the Snoonu Startup Factory, an operating programme that Snoonu launched in April 2026, with access to its operators, mentors, technology and commercial network.

TechScoop's article named no revenue, user numbers or team members beyond the founder.
