AI recruitment platform SorsX is using LEAP 2026 to mark Saudi Arabia as its first stop in a wider MENA expansion, entering a market that already has a domestic HR-tech competitor in Jisr.

SorsX, an AI recruitment platform, is using LEAP 2026 in Riyadh to mark Saudi Arabia as the first stop in a wider Middle East and North Africa expansion, bringing a product that combines candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and applicant tracking into one system aimed at companies hiring at scale. The platform automates several stages of hiring that recruiters have traditionally handled by hand or split across separate tools: sourcing candidates, running AI-conducted video interviews, screening and shortlisting, and tracking applicants through to an offer inside a single applicant tracking system rather than a bolt-on. SorsX says it adapts its screening and interview workflows to the hiring pattern of a given role, distinguishing between high-volume frontline recruitment and more specialised technical or clinical hiring, and the company has claimed reductions of up to 85 percent in time-to-hire and hiring cost using its automation — a figure that is the company's own and has not been independently verified here. Saudi Arabia is a market where automated recruiting tools carry an extra layer of complexity beyond the bias and accuracy questions that dog AI hiring products globally: employers in the Kingdom operate under Saudization quotas requiring a minimum share of Saudi nationals across many job categories, which means a hiring platform working in the market has to screen and rank candidates in a way that accounts for nationality-based hiring rules, not just skills match. Whether and how SorsX's platform handles that requirement has not been detailed publicly. "First stop in MENA expansion" is a market-entry claim rather than a customer claim. No Saudi employer has been named as a SorsX customer, pilot partner or design partner in connection with its LEAP presence, and no contract, headcount or revenue figure tied to the Saudi market has been disclosed. SorsX is entering a Saudi HR-tech field that already has an established local platform in Jisr, which unveiled its own next-generation integrated HR and finance platform at LEAP 2026 , and a government buyer actively investing in digital HR services of its own, after the Saudi Human Resources Ministry brought new digital services to the show . A foreign HR-tech vendor entering that market is arriving alongside both a domestic competitor and a ministry with its own digitisation agenda, not into open ground. Startups making a similar first move into the Kingdom this week have had formal support to lean on — Blossom Accelerator was named LEAP 2026's official soft-landing partner for startups making exactly that kind of entry — though SorsX's own relationship with any such programme has not been confirmed. What would confirm the expansion is under way rather than announced is a named Saudi employer running SorsX in production, and whether its multilingual and Saudization-aware claims hold up against that market's specific hiring rules. TechScoop is reporting from LEAP 2026 in Riyadh.
