Saudi startup Jazr.io secures $213K in pre seed funding to scale its AI powered accounting and inventory platform designed for restaurants and cafés across the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia based SaaS startup Jazr.io has successfully raised $213,000 (SAR 800,000) in a pre seed funding round led by a group of angel investors. Founded in 2024 by Mohammed Almoshwah, Jazr.io provides an AI powered accounting and inventory management platform tailored specifically for small and medium sized restaurants, cafés, and cloud kitchens. The funding will accelerate product development, expand automation features, and strengthen compliance tools, helping the startup establish a stronger foothold in Saudi Arabia’s growing food and beverage technology ecosystem.

Jazr.io’s platform automates core back office functions such as data entry, inventory tracking, and financial reporting, allowing F&B operators to gain real time insights without hiring dedicated accounting staff. Its AI algorithms categorize transactions, detect anomalies, and generate financial statements that comply with Saudi tax regulations. These features are particularly valuable for smaller establishments operating on thin margins, which still need accurate reporting to meet both regulatory and operational requirements.

Over the past year, Jazr.io has onboarded more than 120 F&B businesses across Riyadh and Jeddah, helping them reduce manual bookkeeping hours by up to 60%. Its integrated inventory management system alerts operators to stock shortages, expiration dates, and optimal reorder quantities, helping mitigate food waste and losses. Early adopters report monthly savings of SAR 5,000–10,000, demonstrating both operational and financial impact.

The newly raised capital will be used to expand Jazr.io’s engineering and customer success teams and enhance its AI driven predictive analytics, enabling restaurants to forecast sales, manage inventory efficiently, and optimize staffing based on expected foot traffic. Jazr.io also plans deeper integrations with POS systems, payment gateways, and third party delivery platforms, creating a unified ecosystem for F&B operators.

Saudi Arabia’s food and beverage sector is rapidly adopting digital tools, particularly cloud kitchens and independent café chains. Jazr.io’s vertical SaaS approach aligns with this trend, focusing on industry specific solutions rather than generic accounting software. Similar startups in the region, such as ChefTech and F&B Accounting Solutions, have leveraged automation and analytics to reduce costs and improve cash-flow visibility for restaurants, indicating a growing market appetite for specialized, AI-driven accounting platforms.

Beyond automation, Jazr.io is developing digital financial advisory services. By analyzing historical sales, expenses, and inventory trends, the platform will offer actionable insights such as pricing strategies, budget optimization, and profitability recommendations. These features aim to democratize financial expertise for smaller businesses that typically lack access to professional advisory services.

With this pre seed funding, Jazr.io is also exploring expansion across the GCC, including the UAE and Bahrain, where similar F&B market dynamics and digital adoption trends exist. The combination of automation, compliance, and predictive analytics provides a strong value proposition for operators seeking to improve efficiency and profitability.
