Andres Arenas

<p>Andres Arenas is a Dubai-based entrepreneur and operator with a track record spanning industrial-scale food production, real estate operations, and food-technology innovation. He is a Co-Founder of <strong>Kitopi</strong>, the world's leading managed cloud kitchen platform, and most recently the Co-Founder of <strong>Numu (نموّ)</strong>, an AI-native growth platform for F&amp;B brands operating on delivery apps.</p><p>Arenas earned his higher education at the <strong>University of Warwick — Warwick Business School</strong> in the United Kingdom, sharing this academic background with Kitopi co-founder and CEO Mohamad Ballout.</p><p>Before entering the food-tech space, Arenas built deep operational expertise in industrial-scale food production. As Entrepreneur Middle East noted, Andres Arenas brought to Kitopi his years of operations experience of running big scale seafood export facilities in his role as Chief Property Officer.</p><p>In January 2018, he co-founded Kitopi alongside Mohamad Ballout (CEO), Saman Darkan (CTO), and Bader Ataya (CGO). As Chief Property Officer, Arenas was responsible for Kitopi's physical infrastructure — sourcing, designing, and operationalizing the cloud kitchen network across the Middle East. Speaking about his motivation, Arenas has said: "First, having amazing colleagues to work with and having the opportunity to learn from each other every day. Second, being able to create an amazing concept which is revolutionizing the F&amp;B ecosystem, our mission is to satisfy the world's appetite, and we're on track to achieving this!"</p><p>Under his leadership of property and operations, Kitopi scaled its kitchen network significantly. Founded in 2018 by Mohamad Ballout, Saman Darkan, Bader Ataya, and Andy Arenas, Kitopi operates a network of over 60 cloud kitchens in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. It had also expanded to the United States in 2019 but exited the market after the start of the pandemic. The company achieved unicorn status in 2021 with a $415M Series C round led by SoftBank's Vision Fund 2.</p><p>Most recently, Arenas has begun a new chapter, announcing on LinkedIn: "I'm excited to share that I've started a new chapter as Co-Founder of NUMU – نموّ. NUMU is an AI-native system that grows profits for brands [on delivery apps]." Numu operates across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, and France, and combines AI agents (its proprietary "NIA" engine) with human experts to manage delivery platform operations for restaurant brands.</p><p>He was selected as an <strong>Endeavor Entrepreneur</strong> alongside his Kitopi co-founders Mohamad Ballout and Saman Darkan in recognition of high-impact entrepreneurship in the UAE.</p>
