The potential transaction, valued around ten to fourteen billion dollars depending on final terms, would significantly expand Uber's international footprint in food delivery and quick commerce while challenging competitors like DoorDash in key markets outside the United States. Uber has already built a substantial stake in Delivery Hero, recently increasing its ownership to nearly thirty seven percent through share purchases and derivatives.
