About Wilow
Wilow (ويلو) is a Saudi laundry service delivered through a mobile app, operating in Riyadh. It describes itself as a Laundry-as-a-Service business: customers choose a package, receive a bag, fill it, and Wilow collects it, washes and irons the contents and returns them within 24 hours. Orders can be placed once or as a monthly subscription, and extras such as ironing only and shoe cleaning are offered, with shoes returned within 48 hours.
The company says it started in Riyadh in 2024. Its site lists four package sizes by weight, from a 3 kg Mini bag of about 20 items at SAR 99 per wash to a 10 kg Max bag of about 64 items at SAR 209, and stresses that there is no limit on the number of pieces that fit in the bag. Wilow says it owns and runs its laundry rather than outsourcing to third parties, and states it is a licensed Saudi company operating from the Dhahrat Laban district of Riyadh. It reports more than 2,000 customers in Riyadh with a 4.5 rating and coverage of over 37 neighbourhoods in the north, centre and west of the city.
The site names Wijdan Al-Ghobaiy as founder and chief executive and Mohammed Al-Marri as founder and chief technology officer. Dealroom, lists the CEO under a slightly different spelling, and outlets differ on the spelling of the founders' surnames.
Wamda and Sharikat Mubasher reported in January 2025 that Wilow raised an undisclosed pre-seed round from a group of angel investors, with the money intended for upgrading its technology and reaching new regions. Dealroom indicates the founding date as September 2024 and mentions pickups across several Saudi cities; Wilow's own site, however, lists coverage only in Riyadh.
