About Telgani

Telgani is a Saudi car rental and mobility startup. Wamda reported in 2021 that it was the first in the region to offer car delivery services, covering 12 cities in the Kingdom, and in 2023 that it was expanding short-term rental and flexible car subscription products.

The founders named in coverage are Abdulkader Almkinzy, who is described as founder and chief executive, and Ali Alfehaid. Sources differ on the founding year: one gives 2018 and a 2023 article says it launched in 2019.

Funding has come in three rounds reported by Wamda. A six-figure seed round in May 2020 was backed by 500 Startups, Saudi Venture Capital, Impact46 and angel investors. In November 2021 Telgani raised USD 2.5 million (SAR 9.37 million) in a pre-Series A led by Impact46, with Nomw Capital participating. In February 2023 it closed a USD 6 million Series A co-led by Hala Auto and Elm Company, to expand short-term rental and offer more technology for car subscriptions.

Nothing newer than the 2023 round was found.
