About Tamra Capital
Tamra Capital (Tamra Financial) is a Saudi investment firm that offers automated, goal-based portfolio management through a mobile app. Customers answer a short questionnaire, and the platform builds a diversified portfolio of exchange-traded funds matched to their goal and risk appetite, then rebalances it. The portfolios are graded from calm to moderate, adventurous and aggressive.
The firm says it is licensed by the Capital Market Authority and that its portfolios are Shariah-compliant under the supervision of Shariyah Review Bureau; IBS Intelligence reported a partnership between Tamra Capital and the bureau. Its website states that it manages more than SAR 5 billion in assets and has over 400,000 verified clients, with a 4.7 App Store rating. These are company-stated figures. A separate market analysis published in a 2025-2026 market analysis put Tamra at over SAR 3.1 billion in assets, roughly 48 percent of the Saudi robo-advisory market, which suggests the company's figure has grown.
CB Insights lists Waad Investment as an investor, without an amount or date, and names Hattan Rayes as founder and chief executive; a 2022 article quoted Salauldean Jamal Khashoggi as managing director. Because these sources differ, leadership should be confirmed before it is relied upon. The same database gives 2022 as the founding year, which is also unconfirmed.
