About TAM Group
TAM Group, described by STAT Times as Hong Kong-based, provides general sales and service agent solutions for air cargo and passenger services. SAL, the Saudi cargo handling company, describes it as a global company that works with major airlines worldwide. The sources reviewed give no founding date, ownership, size, list of airlines or offices.
In October 2025 TAM Group signed a strategic partnership agreement with SAL Saudi Logistics Services. The signing took place on the sidelines of the Transport Logistic Southeast Asia exhibition in Singapore, and SAL announced it on 30 October 2025. SAL called the agreement its first international expansion, with its entry into China made through TAM Group. The partners said they would develop air cargo networks and freight solutions between China and Saudi Arabia, with a focus on demand from e-commerce, and that Chinese companies would be able to use SAL's services to enter Saudi Arabia. No financial terms were disclosed.
Alvin Tam, TAM Group's senior vice president, commercial, said in the announcement that the agreement combines TAM Group's international expertise with SAL's operational capabilities. SAL chief executive Omar Hariri described China as the world's largest export market.
TechScoop mentioned TAM Group in June 2026 as SAL's partner in that first international expansion when it reported that SAL had set up a wholly owned subsidiary in the Netherlands.
