About Siemens

Siemens AG is a German technology group headquartered in Munich. Its fiscal 2025 earnings release reports results by business including Digital Industries, Smart Infrastructure, Mobility and Siemens Healthineers, and the company's website describes work in smart factories, sustainable cities, digital transformation, automation, electrification and sustainable transport.

The company traces its history to 1847, when, according to Wikipedia, Werner von Siemens and Johann Georg Halske founded Siemens & Halske in Berlin as a telegraph company. Wikipedia lists later separations including Infineon in 1999, Siemens Healthineers in 2017 and Siemens Energy in 2020.

The Managing Board listed on the company's leadership page comprises Roland Busch as President and Chief Executive Officer, Veronika Bienert as Chief Financial Officer, and Cedrik Neike, Judith Wiese and Peter Koerte. Busch succeeded Joe Kaeser in February 2021, according to Wikipedia.

In its fiscal 2025 release of 13 November 2025, Siemens said its acquisitions of Altair and Dotmatics expand its position in software and artificial intelligence. Wikipedia reports Altair was completed on 26 March 2025 for about USD 10 billion and Dotmatics in July 2025 for USD 5.1 billion. The release also refers to a planned deconsolidation of Siemens Healthineers and to a gain from the sale of Innomotics.

For fiscal 2025, which ended on 30 September 2025, Siemens reported revenue of EUR 78.9 billion, up 4 percent, and orders of EUR 88.4 billion. Net income rose 16 percent to EUR 10.4 billion, free cash flow reached EUR 10.8 billion, and the board proposed a dividend of EUR 5.35 per share, up from EUR 5.20.

Ceer's February 2025 release lists Siemens among its strategic partnerships with global industry leaders, without describing the scope, and TechScoop's September 2026 report on Ceer names Siemens among its industrial partners. On 6 August 2026 Siemens published third-quarter fiscal 2026 results under the headline of a record third quarter with a raised outlook.
