Wamda describes it as an AI-powered personal finance platform that lets users bring bank accounts, savings, investments, gold, credit and payments into one place. Its website lists a prepaid Sav Card issued by NymCard Payment Services under a Visa licence, vaulted gold, access to more than 10,000 US stocks and ETFs, goal-based savings pockets and MyMoney, which gives AI insights across accounts.

Wamda says Sav was founded in 2022. Purvi Munot is co-founder and chief executive, Mithil Ajmera is co-founder and chief operating officer and Abdul Husein is chief technology officer. The website lists Karim Shariff, Sandeep Chouhan and Stewart Bromley as board members. Sav Technologies Limited is registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority under a Category 4 licence with a retail client endorsement. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sav Technologies Inc., registered in Delaware.

Sav's news page lists a save-now-buy-later product for UAE shoppers in July 2023, a travel savings partnership with Desert Adventures in March 2024 and a partnership with Alpaca for US stocks, ETFs and high-yield savings in the Gulf. Sav's release also names Visa and Emirates Gold as partners.

On 7 September 2026 Wamda reported that Sav raised a pre-Series A round of 3.5 million US dollars led by Phoenix Venture Partners, an Abu Dhabi fund manager. Sav's release named 394H Capital, Vestalia Investments, Majlis Investment Management, 500 Sanabil and KAUST Innovation Ventures among participants, alongside family offices and angels. Wamda put total funding at about 6 million dollars, including roughly 2.5 million raised earlier, while the release gave a cumulative 5.5 million.

The release said Sav had passed 100,000 users and had subsidiaries in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and India. Wamda reported that expansion in Saudi Arabia is the main planned use of the funds, with the company earning from interchange, wealth management fees, commerce commissions and subscriptions.
