About Saudi Fransi Capital

Saudi Fransi Capital, which uses the name BSF Capital, is the investment banking and brokerage subsidiary of Banque Saudi Fransi in Saudi Arabia. Arab News described it in July 2020 as the unit through which the bank offers investment banking, asset management, investment funds and brokerage. Banque Saudi Fransi's first-half 2026 investor presentation lists it among the bank's three Saudi subsidiaries, alongside Saudi Fransi for Finance Leasing and Sakan Real Estate Financing, and names wealth management at BSF Capital as an area the bank intends to accelerate.

The parent bank is headquartered in Riyadh. Its investor presentation says it succeeded Banque de l'Indochine, established in 1949, and was set up by Royal Decree M/23 as a Saudi joint stock company in 1977. It reports 78 branches and 3,171 employees and says Credit Agricole's investment bank, which once held 31.1 percent, had fully divested by 2019. The bank's presentation describes its investment banking and brokerage business as covering investment management, asset management activities related to dealing, managing, arranging, advising and custody of securities, retail investment products, corporate finance, local and international share brokerage and insurance.

In June 2021, according to TechScoop, Al Moammar Information Systems and Saudi Fransi Capital signed a binding memorandum of understanding to set up a private investment fund for data centres in Saudi Arabia. In July 2026 the two signed a further memorandum of understanding to study three new data centres in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah with a combined capacity of 48 megawatts. TechScoop reports that Saudi Fransi Capital is acting for a vehicle called Saudi Data Center Fund 1.
