About Sabura
Sabura (سبورة) is a web-based classroom tool for teachers, designed to run on smart boards and projectors. The home page describes an interactive whiteboard screen that gathers more than 20 teaching tools in one place so that a teacher can run a lesson from the browser without technical setup. The interface is in Arabic with an English version.
Tools listed on the site include a daily interactive schedule with a progress bar and alarm, a lesson timer and stopwatch, random student picker, group maker, scoreboard, attendance recording, seating plans, a traffic-light classroom-management signal, and random letter and number generators. An AI teaching assistant generates quizzes, class activities, discussion questions, exit tickets and lesson ideas that teachers can edit and use. A live screen-sharing option lets a teacher share the board with students through a public link.
The pricing model described on the site is freemium. Class tools can be used without an account, and in that case student name lists stay on the user's own device. A new account starts with a seven-day Pro trial that requires no payment card and includes unlimited saved boards. After the trial, free boards become temporary and are not saved after a page refresh, and saving layouts, cloud sync and live sharing require the Pro plan. The contact page also mentions enterprise and school pricing enquiries and partnership requests.
The about page says the team built the platform because classroom technology had become a burden for teachers, and it lists simplicity, readability on smart boards, student privacy and low distraction as principles. It states that lists of names created without an account are not shared. The pages reviewed do not name founders, give a founding year, or report funding, user numbers or investors, and the site gives no city; Riyadh comes from the directory region hint.
