Rubikal is a software engineering company headquartered in Alexandria, Egypt with a regional business hub in the United Arab Emirates that provides outsourced and project-based development teams across web, mobile, data engineering, UI and UX design, quality assurance, and DevOps. The firm helps startups, small and medium businesses, and corporates address the challenge of finding reliable, high-skill technical talent to build real-time, scalable, and fault-tolerant applications, working with clients across the United States, Europe, and the MENA region. Its portfolio of clients has included Vestaboard, Discovery Inc., The Walt Disney Company, and Roadtrip Nation, and it was named to LinkedIn's 2021 Top Startups list in Egypt and ranked second among Egyptian B2B firms by Clutch in 2021. In April 2026, Rubikal was acquired by iSchool, a MENA based K-12 coding and AI education platform, with co-founder Mohamed Ibrahim becoming Chief Technology Officer of iSchool, co-founder Moustafa Badawy becoming Vice President of Engineering, and the full 21-person engineering team integrating into iSchool to build AI infrastructure for schools.
