Razor Capital is a venture investment firm that describes itself as focused on unusual investment opportunities in untapped industries and markets. Its website sets out three strategies. Monsoon covers consumer-related businesses in Bangladesh, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia. Lighthouse backs technology founders in MENA markets, naming Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. RC Selekt is a club giving members access to private technology companies in the United States and Europe. The firm says it is financed by an evergreen fund.
Oussama Glilah, Ramzi Farah and Afshin Moayed are listed as co-founders and managing partners. Farah previously worked at Lehman Brothers, GE Capital and Corporate Finance House and sits on the board of the American University of Beirut Innovation Park. Atif Khalil and Pritesh Gupta are general partners of Monsoon II. Razor's own pages do not state its founding year or headquarters. Its news page describes a 2025 event at its Downtown Beirut offices, while the directory allbusiness.africa lists a Dubai headquarters and a 2022 founding.
The portfolio page lists 30 companies across robotics, space, e-commerce, fintech, artificial intelligence, gaming and life sciences. It marks five as exited, including Sheba and Direct Fresh.
Razor's announcements record several deals. In August 2024 it led the Series A of iFarmer, a Bangladeshi agritech company. In March 2025 it invested in the robotics company Apptronik, and in March 2026 it joined a 520 million dollar Series A extension as a returning investor. In November 2025 it announced Celitech, an eSIM platform, as its first travel technology investment. In May 2026 it took part in the 1 billion dollar Series E of the prediction market Kalshi, which the release values at 11 billion dollars.
The pages read give no fund size or assets under management. The latest item on its press page is the June 2026 announcement of an investment in Moonshot AI. In May 2026 TechScoop reported RAZOR Capital among the partners in an alliance around B&Y Venture Partners' Lebanese angel investor network.
