Pulsar Capital is a private equity firm that describes itself as a mid-market investor with a footprint across India, the Middle East and other emerging markets. According to its website, it makes control-oriented investments in high-potential businesses, with the aim of long-term value creation in emerging markets.

Its website lists a team of five: Vish Narain as Managing Partner, Prashant Mehta as Partner, Saurabh Rai as Venture Partner, Utsaav Pathak as Director, and a Vice President. The firm says it works with founders and management teams to institutionalise operations and drive growth, and describes its support after an investment as strategic guidance on growth planning and organisation design, operational work on scalability, technology and efficiency, and introductions to co-investors, partners and talent.

Vish Narain's profile on the firm's site says he has more than two decades of experience in private equity. He joined TPG in India in 2007 as its second employee, became a Partner and Country Head of TPG Growth in 2012 and led that group for six years. Earlier, he was an Engagement Manager in the private equity practice of McKinsey and Company in Palo Alto and London. He holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi and a diploma from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Pulsar Capital is an investor in TruDoc Healthcare, a virtual-first healthcare provider operating in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Wamda reported in March 2026 that Pulsar acquired a majority stake in TruDoc in 2023. On 5 March 2026, TruDoc announced a 15 million US dollar pre-Series B round with participation from the Al Nahyan family, the Al-Ketbi family and existing investor Pulsar Capital, with Mashreq Bank advising on the transaction. The press release did not state the size of Pulsar's contribution.
