About Plstka

Plstka combines a recycling-rewards application with software for managing waste collection. Households sort recyclable material, submit a collection request and earn points that can be exchanged for products or offers from participating businesses. The same service also supports shops, restaurants and companies that regularly generate recyclable waste.

The customer-facing application covers several material categories, including plastics, aluminium, cardboard, electronics, used cooking oil and clothing. Collection schedules vary by service area. Users can view their points and the quantities they have handed over, while a management dashboard helps operators follow collection requests and field representatives on a map. The business model connects the source of the waste with collectors, recycling operators and manufacturers.

Ahmed Elnagar is founder and chief executive. The Garage lists Plstka in its ninth accelerator cohort and gives Riyadh as its headquarters. The company also operates in Egypt, with its current website describing Arabic and English access and availability in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Its offering brings consumer incentives and business operations into the same recycling process, making separated materials easier to collect and route into reuse or manufacturing supply chains.
