About Origen

Origen is an artificial intelligence company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Its website describes it as building digital infrastructure for intelligent mobility, advanced AI, smart manufacturing and urban intelligence, with a stated mission of making advanced, sustainable AI accessible to all sectors globally. Its office is on the 32nd floor of Sky Tower on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.

Wamda and Middle East AI News report that Origen was founded in 2025 by a group of experienced technology executives. None of the sources read names the founders or any member of its leadership team.

The company lists four products. DOMIA is a smart living system built around a private AI core. SpatialWare is a city operating system based on digital twins, used for decision-making, visualisation and simulation. StellaWare is a geospatial intelligence platform that uses vision-language models. AWF is an enterprise AI agent platform with customisable virtual agents based on large language models. Its website names four industry focus areas: smart city, green energy, advanced manufacturing and an autonomous workforce. It describes its customers as government entities, developers and enterprises but names none.

On 18 February 2026 Origen announced a strategic investment of 50 million US dollars from Bluefive Capital. Origen said it would use the money to speed up product development, form more strategic partnerships and recruit skilled staff. Middle East AI News describes Bluefive Capital as an investment platform registered in the Abu Dhabi Global Market.

On 3 March 2026 Origen presented DOMIA at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The system uses several cooperating AI agents, senses presence with mm-wave radar and LiDAR instead of cameras, and runs its main reasoning on a local AI Box so that data stays in the home.

On 12 May 2026, at the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit, Origen and the Department of Municipalities and Transport announced a strategic partnership under which Origen is system architect for Nabd. Origen describes Nabd as an AI-powered digital governance framework that links municipal data across departments in Abu Dhabi, with a phased rollout starting from priority municipal functions.
