About Omnispay

Omnispay is a UAE-based fintech that has grown from a payment settlement product into a broader AI-driven finance platform for small and medium-sized enterprises. It first gained traction by addressing the multi-day settlement gap that holds back merchant liquidity, offering payouts within 24 hours in place of the traditional five to seven day cycle. It has since added integrated Collect, Pay and Borrow workflows that embed credit and liquidity into SME financial operations, covering cash-flow management, collections, payments and working capital. The company is based in Dubai according to CB Insights. Wamda reports that Omnispay was founded in 2022 by Simanta Das, Vimal Kumar and Praveen Kiran, while other sources give 2023 and one lists a fourth co-founder, Afzal Ibrahim. Kumar is chief executive, Das is chief operating officer and Kiran is chief product officer. The platform is built around ARIES, a proprietary AI risk engine that applies real-time transaction monitoring and dynamic decisioning across payments, credit and liquidity workflows to manage credit and fraud risk. In February 2025 Omnispay announced a USD 1.5 million seed round led by Mercatus Capital, a Singapore-based venture firm, with regional and international investors participating. At that point the company said it had onboarded more than 1,600 businesses and was growing processed volumes by about 40 percent a month. In the announcement Kumar noted that SMEs account for 94 percent of companies and 40 percent of GDP in the UAE. In February 2026 the company closed a USD 2 million pre-Series A round led by Infinity Value Capital Group. The funds are intended to accelerate customer growth, scale embedded lending and deepen the use of AI in the product roadmap, and to support expansion across the GCC, including a strategic entry into Saudi Arabia as it builds a wider ecosystem of distribution and lending partners. Over the previous 12 months, Omnispay says its customer base doubled and processing volumes quadrupled, while revenue rose 5.5 times and operating expenses grew 2.2 times. It also reports a Net Promoter Score above 60. These figures are self-reported. One customer example cited by the company is GForm, a UAE project management firm that used next-day settlement and later working capital to fund a new branch. Headcount has not been disclosed.
