About OFINTECH
OFINTECH is a Saudi Arabian startup that operates an AI-powered open banking platform. The product connects company bank accounts with enterprise accounting systems, with the aim of improving financial transparency for businesses. A LinkedIn post about the fund's investments names Mohammed Alnoosh as its founder. The company graduated from the fifth cohort of the Etlaq Accelerator, a Saudi programme run by Startups House (Beit Al-Manshaat in Arabic). Immediately after the cohort's Demo Day, Venture House Ventures Fund, the investment arm of Startups House, invested USD 100,000 in OFINTECH as a pre-seed round. The cheque took the form of a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity), which converts into equity when a company later raises a priced round. The fund committed a total of USD 500,000 across five graduating Saudi startups, giving each the same USD 100,000. The other four are Handl Hub, STOQA, Sighti and 21Doctors, and the group spans areas from e-commerce and open banking to healthcare and intelligent surveillance. Bahar AlHarbi is identified as founder and CEO of Startups House and general partner of Venture House Ventures Fund. Jawlah reported the investments in July 2026. OFINTECH operates in a market shaped by the Saudi Central Bank's Open Banking Programme, which lets customers share financial data with licensed third-party providers and includes an Open Banking Lab where fintechs test their APIs against the national framework.
