The National Service Projects Organization is an Egyptian state organisation, described in June 2026 coverage as the economic arm of the Egyptian armed forces. It is subordinate to the Ministry of Defence. The English name appears in sources as National Service Projects Organization, Organisation or Products Organization.
Wikipedia lists its sectors as investment and manufacturing and notes subsidiaries across chemicals, optronics, food, petroleum, plastics, construction, water, agriculture and land reclamation, roads, cement, fisheries, refrigeration, transport and batteries. It owns Wataniya, a network of 294 to 296 fuel stations. In June 2021 Bloomberg reported that a sale of Wataniya would be the first of up to 10 of its companies offered to investors.
In 2023 the organization acquired a 20 percent stake in the listed energy group TAQA Arabia from Qalaa Holdings, according to Enterprise and Egypt Oil and Gas, which also report that Qalaa has an option to buy the stake back in June 2027.
On 11 June 2026 the organization signed an agreement with TAQA Arabia under which 172 Wataniya fuel stations are transferred into a new company, Quick Fuel for Petroleum Products Trading and Distribution. TAQA Arabia acquires 10 percent of Quick Fuel and manages the network, with an option on a further 15 percent once Quick Fuel is listed on the Egyptian Exchange. Waya named Magdy Anwar, the organization's director general, as the signatory. The Sovereign Fund of Egypt managed the offering process, and CI Capital was the organization's exclusive financial advisor, with Adsero for legal matters and Grant Thornton for accounting and tax. Business Today Egypt said the deal forms part of the state's privatisation programme and the State Ownership Policy Document.
