Noon Academy

Noon Academy, operating as Noon Education Holding Limited and branded simply as Noon, is a Riyadh headquartered social learning platform founded in 2013 by Mohammed Aldhalaan and Dr. Abdulaziz Alsaeed, two Saudi entrepreneurs who started as a simple test preparation website and grew the platform into the leading edtech company in the Middle East by registered student count. The platform addresses the core problem of student disengagement by transforming studying into a collaborative, gamified, peer-driven social experience, allowing students to form study groups, compete with peers, join live interactive sessions with certified star teachers, and access AI-powered personalized learning pathways from kindergarten through Grade 12, available in Arabic and English across curricula in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, the UAE, and India. A defining differentiator of Noon is its scalable teacher model, in which a select group of 50 star teachers on the platform have collectively educated approximately six million students, democratizing access to exceptional educators for students in remote and underserved areas where quality teaching is scarce. The company is expanding into physical learning spaces through Noon Schools, launched in Saudi Arabia in late 2025 as a full-day hybrid school blending Noon's digital platform with in-person instruction in AI-equipped classrooms, and operates a network of Noon-affiliated learning labs and centers. Noon was named to the Saudi Unicorns Program by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in 2023, has raised approximately 62.6 million dollars across four funding rounds from 18 investors, and is targeting an eventual IPO as it pursues its goal of becoming the first regional edtech decacorn.
