About NoNerds
NoNerds is a Jordanian education technology company that built an AI-native marketplace where students and instructors create and sell courses. Its software analyses the video lectures that instructors upload and generates flashcards, exam-style questions, study notes and personalised learning paths from what was taught. Students can also put text or voice questions about a specific lesson and receive answers drawn from that course material. The company's website is nonerdsapp.com.
Waya reported that Mohammad Alsufi founded NoNerds in 2022, and he is described as its founder and chief technology officer. Coverage in June 2026 describes him as 19 years old, born and raised in Amman, who began building online businesses at 14 and incorporated a Dubai-based web development company at 16. He also founded the AI research lab Brainsless and co-founded Planless, a startup platform incorporated in Delaware.
Lucidity Insights reported that the platform hosted more than 120 courses and 6,000 video lectures, had more than 12,000 registered students and recorded over 128,000 learning hours, with most users at Jordanian universities. Those figures come from the founder and company and were not independently audited.
JoAcademy, a Jordanian online education platform that serves more than 2.1 million students in Jordan, Iraq, Palestine and Saudi Arabia, acquired NoNerds in a deal valued at 140,000 US dollars, announced on 9 and 10 June 2026. Fintech News reported no further terms. JoAcademy said it would integrate NoNerds' AI technology and infrastructure into its platform, and Alsufi joined JoAcademy to lead its artificial intelligence initiatives across the regional platform. Reports name no investors in NoNerds, and no funding round before the acquisition was found.
