About Mydoor
Mydoor is a Saudi consumer and business app that helps people direct visitors to the exact entrance of a home, office, rest house, warehouse or shop. The service is run by Mydoor Technology LLC and is available free on iOS and Android; the Arabic app listing uses the name "Babi".
The product works in three steps. A user registers, creates a "door" with a name and short description, then adds the access steps with photos and written explanations. The user then copies a link and sends it to guests by text message, WhatsApp or any other channel. Links can be temporary or permanent, and the owner controls permissions and timing. Steps can be edited at any time and changes appear immediately for everyone holding the link. The app can also translate the steps automatically into other languages, and there is no limit on the number of doors a user can create.
The company's website describes use cases such as guests arriving after dark, delivery drivers finding a home, and customers reaching a shop without calling for directions. It also has sections for businesses and for investors, and a blog. The site reports an average rating of 4.8 and more than 1,000 users, figures the company states itself and which are not independently confirmed.
The public record on the founders, funding and founding date is thin, and no funding round has been reported. The startup is listed in the Riyadh region at pre-seed stage.
