Mrsool, whose name derives from the Arabic root Rasl meaning to send or messenger, is a Riyadh headquartered on-demand delivery platform founded in 2015 by Ayman Al Sanad and Naif Al Samri that pioneered a unique chat-based, customer-to-customer delivery model in Saudi Arabia distinct from traditional aggregator-based food delivery apps. Rather than partnering exclusively with specific restaurants or stores, Mrsool allows users to describe any order in free text to a crowdsourced network of independent couriers who then bid on the delivery, purchase the items on the customer's behalf, and deliver them, with pricing negotiated directly between customer and courier, creating a fully self-regulating and scalable marketplace. The platform serves consumers across all cities in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Bahrain, offering services spanning food delivery from all restaurants and stores, a Send It same-day parcel service, cooking gas refills, car battery jump-starts, government errand delegation through The Moaaqeb service, and a Mrsool Black subscription offering unlimited free delivery from selected merchants. By 2018 the platform had reached 4 million registered users and 150,000 delivery agents processing more than SAR 1 billion in annual transaction value, and by 2022 had grown to 10 million registered users and 200,000 couriers, ranking in Apple App Store's top 30 Saudi downloads above Facebook and Uber. In 2020, Mrsool acquired the naming rights to King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, renaming it Mrsool Park, the first stadium naming rights deal of its kind in the region, and in 2023 partnered with meem Banking to launch co-branded debit and credit cards for its users.
