Mawidy is a Saudi healthtech company based in Riyadh that runs a mobile and web platform connecting patients with doctors, clinics and hospitals. Its website describes the service as technology that uses artificial intelligence to make access to healthcare easier.

The platform covers three main use cases: remote consultations with doctors, appointment booking at clinics and hospitals, and home medical care. The most searched specialities listed on the site are psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology, dermatology, ophthalmology and dentistry. Doctors and clinics can register on the platform to receive patients, and the company says its tools help providers make better use of their schedules, cut no-shows through a reminder system, handle insurance coverage and transfer patients between providers.

The same outlet reported that the company closed a seed round led by angel investors from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, without disclosing the amount. Entrepreneur Middle East names Dr. Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Hamali as founding partner and CEO. Caplight dates the seed round to May 2021, while Dealroom lists no known external funding, so the funding record is not consistent across sources.

Mawidy also runs the Sanad initiative, described on its site as the charitable arm of the platform. It is a voluntary health programme that offers community services free of charge and publishes health awareness and education videos, including content interpreted in sign language.

Mawidy is a separate private company from Mawid, the Ministry of Health's national appointment system.
