About Lisan

Lisan is a Saudi technology company that builds an Arabic-focused, AI-based software platform for governments and businesses. It was founded in 2021 on the premise that regional organisations work largely in language, and that the software they use was not built for Arabic. The company says it builds its own models rather than layering a thin interface over third-party APIs.

The product line includes MeetriX, which captures meetings and writes minutes; Ishara, a CRM with market data built in; NoteX, a knowledge platform; WriteX, a proofreading tool that parses Arabic grammar; TranslateX, a document translator that keeps layouts intact; Vinance, an accounting and business ledger; and Vquity, an equity ledger covering issuance through exit. Lisan Workspace bundles more than 20 connected apps under one account, and Lisan Hub is a desktop installer for the apps. The company also offers a REST API, an MCP server and self-hosted or sovereign deployments aimed at government customers.

Lisan states that more than 24 government entities use its software, and its customer pages name the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), the Federal Network Council (FNC) and the Digital Government Authority (DGA) among them. Logos on its home page include the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Waed Ventures (Aramco) and stc.
