About Levers
Levers is a B2B receivables collection software company that sells to finance teams. Its platform connects to a customer's ERP, email, payment gateway and bank accounts, then uses AI to send payment follow-ups across email, phone, SMS and WhatsApp and to respond to customer replies, drawing on earlier communication history.
The product line covers automated collection, bank reconciliation, credit assessment, a B2B payment portal and embedded financing. Incoming payments are matched against invoices automatically, with discrepancies flagged on a live dashboard. For onboarding, Levers assesses customer risk by connecting bank data and recommends payment terms. A contract-to-invoice feature scans contracts with AI, extracts billing details and drafts invoices. The company says it saves businesses more than 1,000 hours a year of manual receivables work. It serves B2B software, construction, food and manufacturing, real estate, logistics and professional services firms.
Levers was founded by Ammar Alkhouli and Motasim Zawawi. According to the company's about page, Zawawi has a background in Silicon Valley startups and venture funds, led the creation of a SaaS anti-money-laundering platform at Mozn, and holds an engineering degree from Stanford. Alkhouli previously worked at an $800 million venture fund in the Middle East and North Africa, handling accounting, strategy and compliance, and holds a mathematics and philosophy degree from Yale.
The company says it is backed by Y Combinator, STV and Shorooq Partners. Amounts and dates of its rounds are not given in the pages reviewed. It lists a remote-first team hired globally, with members from Brazil, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Customer logos on the site include Squadio, Safe Food, Lawazem and Cloud Shelf. A partnership programme targets accounting firms, financing companies, consultancies, payment gateways and accounting software providers, offering revenue sharing and co-marketing. The company is listed at seed stage with a Riyadh base; its public pages do not state a founding year.
