About Jazar

Jazr.io, written جزر in Arabic and sometimes transliterated Jazar or Juzur, is a Saudi subscription platform that combines accounting and inventory management for restaurants and cafes. Staff record what happens in the business, and the system posts the journal entries, updates stock and refreshes reports, so owners do not need an in-house bookkeeper. The company describes it as the first accounting and inventory programme for restaurants run by a fully automated accountant and advertises 100 percent input accuracy, a claim that comes from the vendor's own copy. Wamda reported that the tools help owners obtain accurate net profit figures by keeping data entry quality high and generating accounting entries automatically as events are recorded. The company was founded in 2024 by Mohammed Almoshwah, also transliterated Mohamed Al-Moshawh. In February 2026 Wamda and Sharikat Mubasher reported that Jazr had closed a pre-seed round of SAR 800,000, about USD 213,000, from angel investors who were not named. The funds were earmarked for compliance tools, AI-driven automation and product development, including a more advanced accounting system for small and medium-sized food and beverage businesses and digital financial advice inside the product. In September 2026 StartupResearcher and The SaaS News reported that Jazr.io had raised a further investment round of undisclosed size. Bandar Khalid, founder of the Modawar brand, participated. The company says the new funds will go towards more automation, AI-powered accounting, compliance features as Saudi regulation changes, and an in-product financial adviser. It also plans to connect point-of-sale systems with inventory management to serve multi-outlet operators, so that single sites and larger chains can run finance without adding accounting staff. Reports also describe a shift away from a traditional manual data-entry model as artificial intelligence is built into the operating system. Jazr.io's target customers are small and medium-sized businesses in the Saudi food and beverage sector. The company has not published a dated product roadmap, valuation, customer count, recurring revenue or churn figures.
