iSchool is an Egyptian edtech company that operates an online coding and artificial intelligence education platform for K-12 students aged six to eighteen, delivering live, gamified one-on-one and small-group classes led by trained instructors. Its curriculum spans coding fundamentals, Python, JavaScript, Scratch, app and game development, web development, virtual reality, data science, and cybersecurity, addressing the gap in formal technology education available to students across the Middle East, North Africa, and increasingly Sub-Saharan Africa. The company serves direct-to-consumer learners as well as schools and government partners, having managed national level initiatives in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, and reports more than 150,000 graduates across over 20 countries. iSchool established a holding company in Ireland to support global expansion and operates offices in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Dublin. In April 2026, the company acquired Egyptian software engineering firm Rubikal, bringing 21 engineers and Rubikal's founders, Mohamed Ibrahim as Chief Technology Officer and Moustafa Badawy as Vice President of Engineering, in-house to build proprietary AI infrastructure for schools.
