About INVIA

INVIA is a fintech company based in Cairo, Egypt, that is building an AI-powered financial operating system for small and medium-sized enterprises. According to Wamda, the platform brings bookkeeping, cash flow tracking, inventory and manufacturing operations into one product that replaces separate tools. Users can enter information by text, voice note or uploaded invoice, so they do not need accounting expertise.

Wamda and Daba Finance report that the company was founded in 2023 by Yehia Ashour, Ahmed Zeinhom and Omar Aboulmagd. TechScoop describes Ashour as chief executive. All three came from Beltone SME, the small-business finance unit of Beltone Financial: Ashour was its chief executive and co-founder, Zeinhom its chief investment officer and Aboulmagd its investment director, according to Enterprise in January 2023. Enterprise reported then that the team had launched INVIA to finance small manufacturers and was raising a pre-seed round, without naming an amount or investor.

INVIA has partnered with AlBaraka Capital, a subsidiary of AlBaraka Bank Egypt, to launch what the partners describe as Egypt's first Sharia-compliant revenue-based finance fund for small manufacturing businesses. The fund provides financing in return for a share of future revenue, and the law firm Dreny and Partners handled its legal structuring. The source article does not state the date or the size of the fund.

In April 2026 INVIA announced that it had raised 1.2 million US dollars from angel investors and strategic backers, a round Wamda reported on 15 April 2026. The investors were not named, and none of the articles read states a round type or lead. The company said the money would go to product development, engineering and data capabilities, and customer acquisition across Egypt. It also said it plans to extend the platform beyond financial management into human resources, point-of-sale and customer relationship management functions.

No customer numbers, revenue or headcount have been published in the sources read.
