About Infinity Fintech Ventures
Infinity Fintech Ventures L.L.C is a Qatar-registered investment company wholly owned by Vodafone Qatar P.Q.S.C., the Doha-based provider of mobile, fixed-line and broadband services. Vodafone Qatar's 2025 annual report lists it as a 100 percent subsidiary whose nature of business is investment, with the same holding recorded at the end of 2024 and 2025. It sits in a group of Vodafone Qatar subsidiaries that also includes Infinity Payment Solutions, which provides fintech and digital innovation services, Infinity Solutions, Infinity Global Services and Allied Advertising Group.
Its only published activity is the purchase of Maktapp. Vodafone Qatar's interim financial statements for the six months to 30 June 2026 say the group, through Infinity Fintech Ventures, acquired 100 percent of the shares of MaktApp QSTP L.L.C under a share purchase agreement dated 21 April 2026. The acquired company manages the Fatora digital platform. Total consideration was QR 2.1 million, made up of QR 1.26 million paid in cash and QR 0.84 million deferred and payable within six months.
Vodafone Qatar announced on 27 April 2026 that it had completed the acquisition through the subsidiary and described the step as part of the further development of its digital strategy. The announcement did not state a price. No website for Infinity Fintech Ventures was found, and the sources read name no management team, funding rounds or other investments.
