About Hemmah Financing Platform
Hemmah Financing Platform is a Saudi Arabian financing company licensed to operate a debt-based crowdfunding platform. The Saudi Central Bank, known as SAMA, licensed the platform in July 2026, according to reports published on 28 and 31 July 2026. Ajel and MENA Startup Digest both said the licence brought the number of financing companies licensed in the Kingdom to 78, citing SAMA. The name appears as Hemmah on TechScoop, Hemma on MENA Startup Digest and Himmah on Ajel.
TechScoop reported on 29 July 2026 that Hemmah was among the firms that graduated from SAMA's regulatory sandbox, alongside Lendo, Forus, Tameed, Funding Souq and Tal. The same article said licences of this type generally run for five years and that licensed platforms must hold minimum capital of 5 million riyals; it presented both as general rules, not terms specific to Hemmah.
SAMA's rulebook says licensing for debt-based crowdfunding is governed by the Finance Companies Control Law and the Rules for Debt-Based Crowdfunding Activities, and it publishes guidelines for firms applying for a licence. None of the reports read names the platform's founders, owners, executives or website, or discloses any funding or launch date, and no company site or registry entry could be found to add them.
