About Help AG
Help AG is a cybersecurity services company headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company describes itself as the cybersecurity arm of e& enterprise, the enterprise business of e& (formerly Etisalat Group). It serves organisations in the Gulf region with strategic consultancy, customised information security solutions and managed security services. The business traces its roots to a German information security consultancy. Company materials date its presence in the Middle East to 2004, and the Dubai-based regional business grew from that start. Third-party company profiles give different founding dates, including 1995 for the original German business and 2005 for the regional company, so the precise founding year varies by source. Help AG says it carried out the implementation of the first ISO 27001 framework for the Abu Dhabi Government, an early milestone in its government work. According to company profiles, Help AG was owned by TUV Rheinland from 2007. It was later acquired by e&, then still known as Etisalat Group. Profiles place the acquisition in either 2019 or February 2020, and the company has since operated under the e& enterprise name. The company's service portfolio centres on end-to-end zero trust solutions, cyber trust advisory work and advanced threat management delivered through what it calls its Next-Gen Cyber Defense Center. Its managed security offering includes round-the-clock security monitoring and event management, which is run from security operations centres. Help AG has expanded beyond the UAE. Arab News reported that the Dubai-based company launched its first cybersecurity centre in Saudi Arabia, with a security operations centre in Riyadh providing 24/7 monitoring and security event management. Company directories also list a launch in Egypt in 2024. The company's own website shows an office in Riyadh alongside its Dubai headquarters. Help AG is regularly named among the cybersecurity firms active in the UAE market. An October 2025 market research report listed it among local cybersecurity providers in the country, together with DarkMatter and CPX. Company directories give widely differing staff numbers, so no reliable headcount is available. As part of e& enterprise, Help AG sits within the broader technology and digital services portfolio of one of the region's largest telecommunications groups, and its cybersecurity work is positioned alongside the parent's cloud, connectivity and digital transformation services for government and enterprise customers.
