About Hassan Allam Digital Infrastructure and Data Centre Solutions

Hassan Allam Digital Infrastructure and Data Centre Solutions is the digital infrastructure arm of Hassan Allam Holding, the Egyptian engineering, construction and investment group. Its stated mandate is to develop and operate data centres and cloud computing services in Egypt. The entity is called Hassan Allam Digital Infrastructure in some coverage and Hassan Allam Digital Infrastructure and Data Center Solutions in others.

Its parent describes itself as a holding company of 18 subsidiaries with about 50,000 employees and roots dating to 1936, with an Engineering and Construction business and an Investment and Development business. The launch notice on Hassan Allam's news page is dated 15 June 2026 and names Mohamed Magdy Allam as managing director. Dalia Wahba, a board member, signed the licence agreement on the company's behalf, and Hassan Allam Holding's chief executive attended.

On 15 June 2026 the company announced that Egypt's National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority had licensed it to establish and operate data centres and provide cloud computing services. EgyptInnovate and W.Media, which describes it as the authority's tenth data centre licence in two years, reported the same. The company said it would commit an initial USD 400 million to a first phase, with further capacity added in later years as demand grows. Neither a capacity figure nor a site was published.

The project is being developed with A15, an Egyptian venture capital and technology firm, which Hassan Allam describes as a strategic partner. A15's managing partner Karim Beshara attended the signing. EgyptInnovate says the intended customers are government entities, financial institutions and local and international businesses.

No other funding, revenue or headcount figures for the digital arm have been published.
