About GO Money
GO Money is a Saudi consumer microfinance company based in Riyadh. It offers unsecured, Sharia-compliant micro-financing through a fully digital process, with apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and its website lists financing for technology devices, education, travel and emergencies. TechScoop gives its legal name as Alhulul Almuntilaqa Company, and Argaam describes it as a closed joint-stock company.
It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Etihad GO Telecom, the Tadawul-listed operator formerly called Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication, which TechScoop reports was renamed in November 2025. Argaam reports that the company's predecessor, Hulool Al-Intilaq Finance, received preliminary approval from the Saudi Central Bank, known as SAMA, and was renamed after SAMA issued a no-objection letter. The telecom group then completed its incorporation in May with SAR 20 million of capital. Argaam does not give the years of these steps.
SAMA granted final approval on 28 January 2026, according to Mubasher. Entarabi reported that the licence brought to 12 the number of companies offering consumer microfinance in Saudi Arabia, out of 70 finance companies SAMA has licensed. Mubasher reported in June 2026 that GO Money had begun offering micro-consumer financing and had started receiving applications, and TechScoop dates the launch to June 2026.
Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour is chairman of the board, according to GO Money's website, and is also group chief executive of Etihad GO Telecom. Saleh Mutaleb Alanazi is chief executive. The executive team also includes a chief risk officer, a chief compliance and anti-money-laundering officer, a chief technology officer and a chief information security officer.
On 30 September 2026 Etihad GO Telecom disclosed that SAMA had approved raising GO Money's capital from SAR 20 million to SAR 138 million. The parent will contribute SAR 100 million in cash and capitalise SAR 18 million of earlier contributions, and it keeps 100 percent ownership. Argaam said the aim is to strengthen GO Money's financial position and support growth of its financing portfolio. GO Money must still amend its articles of association and register the change.
