About Gaia
Gaia is a Saudi company building an artificial intelligence platform for organisations. It links an organisation's files, email, chats and business systems so that employees can search them in natural language, get answers drawn from the company's own data with links to the original sources, and use AI agents to run multi-step tasks such as recurring reports, onboarding and approvals. The interface works in Arabic and English, and its website lists Riyadh as its office.
The company was founded in 2026 by Badr Al-Malluh, its chief executive, and Mohammad Rababah, its chief product and technology officer.
Gaia offers three products: Enterprise Search, an AI Assistant and AI Agents. It says results follow each employee's existing access permissions, that higher-risk actions taken by agents need a person's approval, and that customer data is not used to train shared models. Deployment can be on-premise, including air-gapped, in a customer's private cloud, or in a managed cloud with Saudi data residency options. The website lists connectors for tools including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Google Drive, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, SAP, Zoho and ServiceNow. It names retrieval-augmented generation as the technique that grounds answers in company documents, and it shows the NVIDIA Inception Program badge. The company describes the platform as aligned with requirements of the National Cybersecurity Authority, the National Data Management Office and the Saudi Central Bank, and with the Personal Data Protection Law; these are the company's own statements and the site gives no audit details. It names banking, fintech, insurance, logistics, retail, government and healthcare among its target sectors but no customers.
In September 2026 Gaia announced a $1.5 million pre-seed round led by SEEDRA Ventures, a Riyadh-based venture firm licensed by the Capital Market Authority. Jawlah described it as a staged round. The company said it would use the money to keep developing the platform and to work with Saudi enterprises on practical uses of AI. As of October 2026 the product was in private early access, with a waitlist on its website.
