About Forgepoint Capital International
Forgepoint Capital International, or FPCI, is the international investment arm of Forgepoint Capital, a venture capital firm in San Mateo, California that invests in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and infrastructure software and reports more than $1 billion in assets under management. FPCI is a dedicated management company with a European hub in London, at Hammersmith Grove, and says it has a presence in Madrid and Paris. Its team focuses on opportunities in Europe, Latin America and Israel.
FPCI grew out of an alliance that Banco Santander and Forgepoint announced in Madrid on 19 October 2022. The alliance had three parts: the creation of FPCI, Santander's participation in Forgepoint's third North American fund, and a co-investment programme. Santander said it would invest up to EUR 300 million across them and be the anchor investor in FPCI's first fund, then planned for 2023. In October 2024 Forgepoint announced the London hub and said it would raise a fund for the expansion, without disclosing a target.
Damien Henault is managing director and partner of FPCI and leads its investments. He was previously a partner at TempoCap and Andurance Ventures. Jaime Goyarrola is its chief financial officer. Alberto Yepez, co-founder and managing director of Forgepoint, leads the parent firm, and Forgepoint says the two operate as one global team together with Santander.
In July 2026 Multiverse Computing announced a $570 million Series C that FPCI co-led with BNPP Solar Impulse Venture Fund and Bullhound Capital, at a $1.7 billion pre-money valuation. In September 2026 FPCI led a $19 million round in Hackuity, a vulnerability operations company with offices in Lyon, Paris and Singapore, which brought its total raised to $38 million. In October 2026 it co-led a $40 million round in Hadrian with SmartFin, according to Sifted.
Forgepoint's earlier European investments, made before the London office opened, include AlienVault, BehavioSec, Lynx, ReversingLabs and Constella. Forgepoint is a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment, the Institutional Limited Partners Association and the ESG Data Convergence Project.
