About Flowwow

Flowwow is an online marketplace for flowers and gifts that connects buyers with local florists, bakers and independent shops. Wamda reported in October 2022 that it began as a flower delivery marketplace in Russia and in 2019 added cakes, handmade goods, jewellery and vintage clothing, with independent suppliers in each category. Its company site describes a website and mobile apps for buyers and sellers, with sellers in cities in Russia and elsewhere.

Slava Bogdan, Andrey Makeev and Artem Gambitski founded the company in 2014, according to Wamda. In 2022 Bogdan was chief executive and Vera Modenova chief operating officer. Wamda reported that the company moved its headquarters to Budapest in May 2022, planned to expand across the Middle East and North Africa from a Dubai office, and was pursuing Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Egypt as part of a USD 6 million international expansion strategy. At that time it was present in more than 950 cities and Russia remained its largest market.

In June 2025 Khaleej Times reported that Flowwow offered same-day delivery in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah through flowwow.ae and its app, with products starting at AED 39. The range covered flowers, cakes and chocolates, beauty and wellness items, plants and home goods, gift cards and personalised add-ons. The platform was recruiting local sellers without upfront cost and the article described it as used in more than 30 countries.

On 29 April 2026 Wamda reported that Udora, a Dubai-based gifting marketplace founded by Slava Bogdan, raised USD 10 million in a private round, without naming investors. The report says the company operates in more than 50 markets and 1,500 cities, fulfils all UAE orders through local small businesses, and grew its UAE seller network by 66.5 percent in 2025. It says the Middle East and North Africa account for about one third of gross merchandise value and that an AI support assistant resolves 41 percent of customer queries. The company plans a Saudi Arabia launch in the third quarter of 2026 and a rebrand, and says it will spend the funds on its catalogue, localisation and technology.
