About FASCANO

FASCANO is an Oman-based technology company that sells a cloud platform to restaurants, cafes and hotels. Wamda and the Oman Observer describe the product as a single system for reservations, order management, digital menus and payments made by QR code. FASCANO's own website presents it as a restaurant growth platform that combines point of sale, online ordering, loyalty, analytics and customer data, with multi-branch control from one dashboard. Its terms of use are governed by the laws of Oman.

The company was founded in 2021 by Ahmed Al Kharusi and Murak Al Muairki. The Oman Observer named Al Kharusi as chief executive in April 2026. FASCANO's website does not list its team.

The website lists a cloud point-of-sale system, online ordering, inventory management, a kitchen display system, QR ordering, analytics, and loyalty and customer relationship tools. The site says the company serves more than 2,000 companies in six or more countries and has processed 70 million orders; these figures are the company's own and undated. Its customers are hotels, restaurants and cafes, and two cafe chief executives, Hamd Al-Saadi of Hattan Cafe and Marwan Alweshahi of Muscafe, are quoted on the site. The integration page describes links to delivery platforms, payment services and inventory systems but names none.

FASCANO has raised three funding rounds. Wamda reported in November 2024 that the first, closed about two years earlier, raised more than 1 million dollars. In November 2024 a second round of undisclosed size was led by Future Fund Oman, which is backed by the Oman Investment Authority, with Cyfr Capital. On 21 April 2026 FASCANO announced a third round of 10 million dollars from Cyfr Capital, Future Fund Oman and an individual investor, Sayyid Dr. Kamil bin Fahd Al Said. The Oman Observer reported that the money will go to expansion, product development and hiring, and that the company plans to consolidate existing markets before entering new ones, with results assessed over the following 12 to 18 months.
