About FalconViz

FalconViz is a Saudi asset-digitisation company that uses drones and related sensors to survey, map, inspect and model physical assets. Its headquarters is in the KAUST Research Park in Thuwal, in the Makkah region, and it opened a Riyadh branch in 2020 to serve giga-projects in that area.

The company's own history says it began in 2013 with seed funding from KAUST, built local capability in 2014, and obtained its Saudi commercial registration and SAGIA certificate in 2015. In 2016 it reports receiving Series A funding from Wa'ed (Aramco) and KAUST, and being named one of the top three innovative companies in Saudi Arabia by Forbes. In 2018 it won Best Startup Presentation at VivaTech in Paris, and in 2021 it won first place in the Future of Construction Tech Challenge run by the Dubai Future Foundation.

Services include data processing, construction monitoring, surveying and mapping, inspection, volumetric assessment, drone videography, laser scanning, mobile mapping, modelling and visualisation, GIS and remote sensing, and software development. It serves oil and gas, mining, telecom, construction, transportation, cultural heritage, renewable energy, agriculture and autonomous delivery.
