About Entrepreneur Middle East
Entrepreneur Middle East is the Middle East edition of the business magazine Entrepreneur, covering entrepreneurship and business in the region. It publishes online at mena.entrepreneur.com and in print, with recent print issues listed on the site. The website carries the copyright of Entrepreneur Media, LLC, which owns the Entrepreneur trademark, and lists the Middle East among the magazine's editions alongside the United States, India, Asia Pacific, the United Kingdom and Europe.
According to a June 2016 report by the media site MediaSource, the Middle East edition launched in February 2014. It was followed by an Arabic edition, Entrepreneur Al Arabiya, and a Qatar-specific edition, Entrepreneur Qatar. Fida Chaaban was the founding Editor-in-Chief and left after three years.
The edition is published by BNC Publishing, which is based in Dubai Media City. BNC Publishing's website says the company was founded in 2014 with the aim of creating a media publishing house, and lists seven brands: Entrepreneur Middle East, Entrepreneur Al Arabiya, Construction Business News, Hotel and Catering, Design Middle East, Logistics News and BusinessToday Middle East.
Editorial leadership has changed several times. In June 2016, Aby Sam Thomas was promoted from Managing Editor to Editor-in-Chief. In May 2026, BNC Publishing announced that Tamara Pupic had been promoted to Editor-in-Chief. She joined the title in 2017 as Managing Editor and has more than 15 years of experience in editorial leadership, strategic communications and stakeholder engagement in the United Arab Emirates, according to the announcement. Aalia Mehreen Ahmed was promoted to Senior Features Editor at the same time, having joined BNC Publishing as a trainee in 2020.
A BNC Publishing spokesperson said the promotions reflect the title's commitment to business journalism and to covering the UAE and regional entrepreneurship.
