About Enroute

Enroute developed a commerce and loyalty layer for mobility services, connecting shopping activity with the time passengers spend travelling. Its software was designed to sit inside ride-hailing and mass-transit applications rather than requiring a separate consumer marketplace. Passengers could interact with offers, make purchases and collect items near their destination while earning credit toward future rides.

The product used location and journey information to select relevant commercial opportunities. For mobility operators, the integration offered a potential source of revenue beyond fares and a way to encourage repeat use through rewards. An SDK allowed the commerce functionality to be embedded in an operator’s existing application, linking passenger engagement with the operator’s own customer relationship.

DriveTLV identifies deployments with mobility and payment organisations including Deutsche Bahn, Metro de Madrid, Banco Santander and ComfortDelGro. Enroute was founded in 2017 and operated from Tel Aviv. Aviv Frenkel led the business as co-founder and chief executive. The company’s public corporate profile now identifies it as acquired. Its historical proposition brought together journey context, merchant offers and mobility loyalty within the same digital interface.
