About Ebana
Ebana (إبانة) is a Riyadh-based software company that provides a digital platform for equity management, investor relations and corporate governance. Wamda reports it was founded in 2020 by Ali Alshareef.
The platform is organised around problems and roles. Challenge-based solutions cover shareholder record keeping, which includes ownership tracking, transaction documentation and communication; employee incentive schemes aimed at retaining talent; and governance, including documenting decisions and organising authorities. Role-based modules serve chief executives, boards of directors, corporate secretaries, investor relations teams, HR directors and legal advisers, with tools for managing board meetings, resolutions, disclosures and contracts. Ebana also targets sectors: government entities, private companies, listed companies and start-ups, which it offers a shareholder registry, association governance and automated employee incentives.
In January 2025, Sharikat Mubasher and Wamda reported that Ebana closed a pre-Series A round of about SAR 10 million (USD 2.66 million). Sharikat Mubasher reported major participation from Isnad Legal Consulting, though other outlets spell the investor's name differently. Wamda said the funds would go toward expanding investor relations tools, digital governance solutions and employee stock ownership programmes for public and private companies.
Dealroom describes Ebana as offering digital solutions for equity management, investor relations and investment operations.
