About Daysum

Daysum (ديسم) is a Saudi software company offering cloud ERP and accounting systems and ZATCA-compliant electronic invoicing. According to its about page, the company began in 2021 when Yousef Alhamad developed an accounting program for managing gold shops, designed for Saudi retailers. The product became popular with several sellers in the market, and the business later widened into general ERP.

Today its solutions include e-invoicing, an enterprise management (ERP) system, a gold and jewellery management system, and attendance and HR. It also sells Odoo-based services and describes itself as an authorised Odoo partner, offers a link to the Salla e-commerce platform, builds online stores on Zid and Salla, gives free consultations on Odoo and ERPNext, and provides online gold and metal calculators. The site states that its products are compatible with ZATCA Phase 2 and that it is approved by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

Daysum describes a four-step delivery method: a workshop to collect requirements, customisation of the system to the client's activity, training, and launch with continuing support. Pricing is by monthly or annual subscription, and a seven-day free trial is offered. Client logos on the site are mainly jewellery businesses, plus a contracting firm and other companies; the company says it serves customers in the Kingdom and the wider Middle East. It says its team numbers more than 20 people across Saudi Arabia.

The directory lists Daysum as a pre-seed technology company in the Eastern Province. Funding has not been disclosed.
