About CrowdStrike

CrowdStrike is a cybersecurity company headquartered in Austin, Texas. It was co-founded in 2011 by George Kurtz, Dmitri Alperovitch and Gregg Marston, and Kurtz serves as chief executive. The company provides endpoint security, threat intelligence and cyberattack response services to enterprises and governments. Its first product, CrowdStrike Falcon, launched in June 2013 and combined endpoint protection with threat intelligence and attribution. Falcon has since grown into a platform sold on a subscription basis, which is the basis of the company's business model. CrowdStrike also offers incident response and threat-hunting services built on its global telemetry. CrowdStrike went public on the Nasdaq in 2019 and joined the S&P 500 index in 2024. For fiscal 2026, which ended on 31 January 2026, the company reported total revenue of USD 4.81 billion, up 22 percent from USD 3.95 billion a year earlier. Ending annual recurring revenue (ARR) reached USD 5.25 billion, a 24 percent increase, and it passed the USD 5 billion milestone during the year. Net new ARR in the fourth quarter was USD 330.7 million, free cash flow for the quarter was USD 376.4 million, and cash and equivalents stood at USD 5.23 billion. CrowdStrike has set a goal of USD 20 billion in ending ARR by fiscal 2036. A third-party tracker citing the annual report puts the workforce at 10,698 for fiscal 2026, up from 10,118 a year earlier. On 20 January 2026 the company announced plans for in-country cloud deployments in Saudi Arabia, India and the UAE as part of a global data sovereignty initiative. The regional clouds are designed to let customers run the Falcon platform with data resident in their own country while staying connected to CrowdStrike's global threat intelligence and threat hunting services. The company said more geographies would follow. The move responds to tightening rules on where sensitive data from government, financial and critical infrastructure organisations can be stored and analysed. CrowdStrike's headquarters has been reported in Austin, Texas, by Wikipedia and Yahoo Finance, although some job and data aggregators still list Sunnyvale, California, which appears to be an earlier address. As a listed company, it publishes quarterly results and annual filings through its investor relations site.
