Brookfield Corporation is listed under the symbol BN, and its affiliates include Brookfield Asset Management, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, Brookfield Renewable Partners and Brookfield Business Corporation.
The group traces its origins to a privately owned utility founded in 1899 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and says it has used an owner-operator approach for more than 125 years. Wikipedia gives Toronto as the headquarters of Brookfield Corporation, and Brookfield Asset Management lists New York as its headquarters. In the Middle East, Brookfield and Qai, a Qatar Investment Authority subsidiary, announced a 20 billion dollar joint venture on 9 December 2025 to build artificial intelligence infrastructure in Qatar and selected other markets.
