About Beeah Group

BEEAH Group is a Sharjah-based sustainability company that began in waste management and now operates in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Its website describes five pillars: environment, technology, energy, health care and real estate. It reports about 13,000 employees of 46 nationalities and more than 200 clients.

The group was founded in 2007 as a public-private partnership under a decree issued by Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah. Its team page lists Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi as chairperson of the board and Khaled Al Huraimel as vice chairman. Al Huraimel is also group chief executive and joined BEEAH in 2009, according to Forbes Middle East. The group's own listing adds executives including Fahad Shehail, chief executive of the environment business, Zouheir Sabra, chief executive of capital, and Nada Taryam, chief executive of real estate.

The environment business covers waste collection and city cleaning, recycling and processing, and facilities management, the last launched as a service line in October 2025. The group's technology arms include EVOTEQ, a track-and-trace venture launched in 2017, and ION, an electric vehicle charging and mobility business. Its energy interests include the Sharjah Waste to Energy facility, which began operating in 2022 and had processed more than one million tons of waste by April 2026. In real estate, BEEAH inaugurated its headquarters in 2022 and announced Khalid Bin Sultan City in June 2025.

Its joint ventures include Wekaya with Green Planet in 2011 and ION with Crescent Enterprises in 2018. Emirates Waste to Energy Company was formed with Masdar in 2017; in 2025 Tadweer Group took over Masdar's stake in the facility. In January 2026 BEEAH signed a joint development agreement with Masdar for solar projects in Sharjah and announced a battery recycling joint venture with LOHUM and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. It also published a Sustainable Finance Framework with First Abu Dhabi Bank, which received a second-party opinion from DNV, and has pledged net-zero operations in the UAE by 2040. In September 2026 it signed a memorandum with Chalhoub Group on circular economy initiatives.
